Chicago, IL — July 20, 2026 — Becovic Residential, a Chicago-based housing owner and operator, is pleased to announce the $25.6 million acquisition of The Vivian, a historic nine-story mixed-use apartment community located at 6807 North Sheridan Road in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.

Originally constructed in 1921 as the historic Rogers Park Hotel, the building has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its distinctive Art Deco architecture while offering modern apartment homes designed for today’s residents.

Transaction Details
The $25.6 million acquisition was brokered by Pete Evans from Berkadia Real Estate Advisors and was financed by Elizabeth Hozian from Associated Bank. The property will be professionally managed by Becovic Management Group Inc., which oversees leasing, maintenance, and resident services throughout the Becovic portfolio.
