Find fresh, local food in Edgewater’s 26 year-old open-air farmers market as well as unique offerings from local artisans!
Edgewater’s Monday Market will once again bring fresh from the farm produce, unique artisanal goods and more! The market will provide the finest quality meats, fruits & vegetables, fresh pastries, and a tasty selection of prepared foods at the Broadway Armory Parking Lot, 5917 N Broadway. It will showcase more than 20 local vendors.
| Felines and Canines Donation Day 9/4
Felines & Canines is located in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. Their focus is to place safe, social and loving dogs and cats into permanent loving homes.
They are best known for our exceptional care for both our animals and adopters, groundbreaking program for FIV-positive cats, and creation of our nation’s very first rescue and relocation facility – Felines & Canines Rescue Center.

In Kind Donations / Wishlist:
- Cleaning Supplies: Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap, Bleach, Windex, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Hand Soap
- Animal Products: Un-opened dog/cat kibble, canned dog/cat food, clean dog/cat toys, fleece blankets, towels
They can not accept the following items: cat trees / scratching posts, litter boxes, opened food, sheets, comforters, any animal bedding that can not easily fit into a residential washing machine. |
