Becovic Management Group Partners with POAH to Enhance Affordable Housing on the Northside

Chicago, IL – January 2, 2025 – Becovic Management Group, a longstanding leader in Chicago’s residential property management sector, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Preservation of Affordable Housing, Inc. (POAH) to support the $27 million renovation of the Heart of Northside Apartments. This initiative furthers both organizations’ shared mission of preserving and improving affordable housing in the city.

The Heart of Northside Apartments, comprising 103 units across five properties at 927 W. Wilson, 900 W. Windsor, 847 W. Sunnyside, 4437 N. Clifton, and 4130 N. Kenmore, will undergo extensive renovations beginning next year.

Partnership Highlights:

• Becovic will leverage its deep local expertise to assist with resident relocation and property management during the renovation process.
• The collaboration will prioritize minimizing disruption to residents and ensuring they can return to upgraded homes upon project completion.

The planned renovations include upgrades to interiors, central air installation in most buildings, and improved community spaces. Construction will commence at 927 W. Wilson in January 2025, with the project slated for completion by the end of the year.
