A major holiday in many parts of Asia, the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival commemorates the full harvest moon and is a time to gather with friends and family. For many, this holiday begins on or around September 17th in 2024. Other names you may see it go by are Moon Festival, Mooncake Festival, Zhongqiu Jie (China), Chuseok (Korea), Tsukimi (Japan), or Tết Trung Thu (Vietnam)!
Join Ward 48 and State Rep. Hoan Huynh for the second annual Mid-Autumn Moon Festival! In addition to spending time with family and friends, there will be lion dancing, lantern-making, mooncakes, entertainment, and more!
